The Delaware Division of the Arts is pleased to announce that Ramona DeFelice Long has been selected as the recipient of the 2014 Cape Henlopen Writers Retreat Fellowship.
Ramona DeFelice Long In 2013, Ramona was awarded a Literary Fellowship from the Delaware Division of the Arts as an Established Artist in Literature-Creative Nonfiction and in 2009, she received an equivalent award from the Division as an Established Artist in Fiction. She has been awarded artist fellowships and scholarships from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Pennsylvania State Arts Council, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and the Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild.  Ramona works as an independent editor and teaches workshops on all aspects of writing, at conferences and online. She lives in Delaware and maintains a literary blog at ramonadef.wordpress.com.

FinalDivArtsLogoStackColorDelaware Division of the Arts – 2013 Fellowship as an Established Artist in Literature-Creative Nonfiction, announced by the State of Delaware news release on January 8, 2013. Seventeen Delaware artists were selected for Individual Arts Grants in various disciplines.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation- Creative Fellowship, 2012. This grant will fund my residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
The MAAF was established in 1979 to promote and support multi-state arts programming. The Foundation serves Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the US Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia.  The MAAF also hosts an Artists Registry.

Virginia Center for the Creative Arts -2012 Residency.
The VCCA’s mission statement is as follows: “Guided by the conviction that art nourishes individuals and civilization,VCCA provides a supportive environment in a residential setting for superior national and international visual artists, writers and composers of all cultural and economic backgrounds to pursue their creative work.”
